It is with regret that due to ongoing concerns with management and containment of the Coronavirus COVID-19, we have had to change the format of the 2020 Air Power Conference (APC20). APC20 will no longer be held as an attendance plenary event in Canberra over the period 24-25 March 2020. As a result it is requested that all delegates planning to travel to attend APC20 please take the necessary actions to cancel travel and accommodation plans. To significantly reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 while still achieving one of the key outcomes of the conference, which is to contribute to the global dialogue focusing on the contribution of Air and Space Power to Indo-Pacific security, we will be providing remote access for delegates to the distinguished line up of speakers. This will occur through the pre-recording of speakers' presentations for subsequent 'broadcast' via a web-based platform that would enable delegates to listen at a time of their choosing. The platform that will be used to host the presentations is Air Force's new professional military education portal - The Runway. Please click through to the events page after you have had a look at the site. Once the presentations have been recorded a program of release will be provided on this page where the presentations can be viewed. As the organising team of APC20 we are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all delegates, speakers, sponsors and staff at this year's conference. On behalf of the Royal Australian Air Force, we apologise for the inconvenience caused and ask for your understanding that this difficult decision was made in the best interests of all concerned.
